L-Type Pressure Balanced Expansion Joints for CERRO PABELLON GEOTHERMAL POWER PLANT, CHILE

MEGAFLEXON has designed, manufactured and tested a large number of high-quality custom made L-Type Pressure Balanced Expansion Joints for  Cerro Pabellon, South America’s First Geothermal Power Plant. 

We supplied 4sets Tied Universal MEJ 18"x2000L, 2sets L-Type Pressure Balance MEJ 66"x6700L and 4sets L-Type Pressure Balance MEJ 56"x5382L. 

All the expansion joints are designed based on the following: 

ASME B31.3, BPVC SEC.Ⅱ, PART D(Metric) EJMA 10th Edition, ASME B31.3 2016 ED. PROCESS PIPNG, ASME BPVC SECTION Ⅴ 2017 ED., ASME BPVC SECTION Ⅵ 2017 ED.

All bellows meet the requirement of Min. 10,000 cycles.

All the designs are satisfied with the concurrent movements according to the data sheet.

Our expansion joint are produced by hydraulic mandrel punch forming.
